Effective September 2026
Privacy Policy
What this website collects, why, and what we'll never do with it. Written to be read.
This is a family site, so we keep this simple: we collect only what a parent needs to hold a membership, we collect nothing about your child, and we don't sell or share anything with advertisers.
Who this site is for
Miss Annette's ABC Preschool is a membership website made for parents, guardians, and caregivers. The curriculum is designed to be used by an adult together with their child: an adult signs up, an adult logs in, and an adult decides which activities to do and when.
The site is not directed at children, and it is not meant to be used by a child on their own. Accounts may only be created and held by adults who are 18 or older.
Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect, store, or request personal information from anyone under 18. Nothing on this site asks for a child’s name, age, photo, voice, location, or any other personal detail, and there is no way for a child to create an account, post, or send a message.
The only personal information we hold belongs to the adult member: the parent or guardian who signed up. We never build a profile of a child, and we never use a child’s information for any purpose.
If you believe a child has provided us personal information in any way, send us a note through Ask Miss Annette and we will delete it promptly.
Some activities involve everyday materials: scissors, glue, small objects, cooking, or movement. Please supervise your child while doing any activity from this site, and use your own judgment about what is appropriate for your child’s age and abilities. The curriculum is a learning resource for families and is not a substitute for childcare, licensed preschool, or professional advice.
What we collect
When you join, we receive your name and email address, and Stripe (our payment processor) gives us a customer and subscription reference so we know your membership is active. Your card details go directly to Stripe on its secure checkout page. They never touch this site and we cannot see them.
When you sign in, we send a one-time login link to your email. The site remembers you on that device with a secure session cookie for up to 30 days, so you don’t have to sign in every visit.
When you unlock the free week or use the "Ask Miss Annette" form, we receive what you type: your name, email, and your message. Forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to keep spam bots out.
The site uses Google Analytics and a first-party interaction beacon to understand how pages are used: tap and scroll positions on the page, nothing more. No keystrokes, no form contents, no typed text.
How it’s used
To run your membership: sign you in, show you the current month’s curriculum, send you your receipts and renewal emails, and answer the questions you send us. That’s it.
Your information is never sold, rented, traded, or shared with advertisers. We share it only with the services that make the site work: Stripe for billing, Resend for sending email, and Cloudflare for hosting and storage. Each of those handles it under its own privacy policy and only as needed to provide the service.
Cookies and third-party content
The site sets one cookie of its own: your sign-in session. It is HttpOnly, secure, and does nothing besides keep you logged in. Google Analytics may set standard measurement cookies. The site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Curriculum videos are hosted on YouTube. When a video plays, YouTube (Google) may set its own cookies and collect viewing data under Google’s privacy policy. Videos are embedded so an adult chooses when to press play.
Your choices
You can cancel your membership anytime from your account page. Want your name or email corrected, or your account and information deleted entirely? Send us a note through Ask Miss Annette and it’s done. Browser-level tracking protections and analytics opt-outs work exactly as you’d expect here.
The only emails you’ll get from us are about your account: sign-in links, receipts, and a note when a new week of curriculum is up. We don’t send marketing email and we never share your address.
Security and changes
Member data lives in encrypted storage on Cloudflare, sign-in links are single-use and stored hashed, and there is no password on file that could ever be leaked. If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page changes with it. We won’t quietly move the goalposts.
Questions?
Use the Ask Miss Annette page for anything about your information: corrections, deletions, or just a question. Ready to join? Head to the registration page.
